Do you recognise yourself? Take a look at our photos from the past - you may be there.
Did you know?
In the 1950's/60's Chipstead F.C. used our facilities for functions.
In the 1960's Crystal Palace F.C. used the Netherne Club as their training ground.
Netherne CASC used to be the sports and social club for the Netherne hospital and had up to 1500 members at one time. The Hospital ran a small bus service to and from Coulsdon Town.
Netherne CASC is in Coulsdon and stands in a beautiful position up on the Downs with great views. It is named after the ex-Hospital which stood on the grounds of the present Netherne Village site less than a mile further up along the Lane.
Coulsdon Town F.C. is the name of our football teams - changed from Netherne F.C. a while ago. Most of our players are from the surrounding areas and are young men from approx. 17 - 42! We have 2 Saturday teams and 2 Sunday teams. We now have a women's team due to start playing this season.
We do allow social members and this is free until Dec. 2011 as a special offer to encourage membership.
